Distance from Fulham Pier Hotel: 0.7 miles, 15–20 min walk Underground lines: District Line – Exit the Putney Bridge Underground Station, turn left, then turn right onto the Ranelagh Gardens street – Take another right onto Fulham High Street , then take the first left onto Gonville Street – Cross the main road, turn left onto Putney Bridge Approach and you will see entrance to the Bishop’s Park on your right shortly – walk down Church Gate street down until you reach Thames Path by the river – Follow the Thames Path along the river, strolling past historic Fulham Palace and continue along the riverside past Fulham FC – The hotel awaits on the right-hand side of the river path.

Distance from Fulham Pier Hotel: 1.4 miles, 30 min walk Underground lines: Hammersmith & City Line / Circle Line / Piccadilly Line / District Line Exit the station and turn left, at the junction turn right passed the Swan pub, then turn right onto Fulham Palace Road, after 0.3 of a mile turn right onto Chancellor’s road, walk to the end of the road, then take a left onto the Thames path and continue for 20 minutes along the river until you reach the destination.

By Boat

TfL service from Blackfriars & Embankment to Putney Pier (~1 hour). Allow 20–30 min walk to Fulham Pier.

TfL (Transport for London) operates a scheduled river bus service RB6 from the piers along the River Thames, terminating at Putney pier. Here is RB6 timetable: https://tfl.gov.uk/river-bus/timetable/rb6/

Please allow 20 – 30 min to walk the final leg of the journey to the hotel. A full adult fare is £8.25, reduced to £5.50 with a valid travelcard. Further information can be found on the Transport For London website.

By Rail

The closest mainline railway station to Fulham Pier Hotel is Putney, located on Putney High Street, south of the River Thames. The station can be easily reached by train from other railway hubs, including Clapham Junction (5 min) and Waterloo (13 min).

From Putney Train Station (South Western Railway, 30 min walk): exit the station and turn right onto Putney High Street, continue walking until you reach Putney Bridge at the end of the high street. Cross the bridge, go down the stairs on the left-hand side of the road to enter Bishop’s Park. Once you’ve entered the park, follow the Thames Path along the river until you reach Fulham Pier Hotel.

Recommended Route: Via Gate 50 on Stevenage Road

Walk or drive along Stevenage Road to Gate 50 (next to Stevenage Park), where a 24/7 security team is on hand.

From Gate 50, follow the Thames Path to Gate 51 – it’s a short walk alongside Stevenage Park that leads you directly to the hotel.

At Gate 51, you can either:
Tap your guest keycard at the access reader, or
Use the intercom to speak to the hotel Front Desk team for entry.

Match Day Arrival Please allow extra time for your journey

Access around Fulham Pier is more restricted due to the match/football game taking place in the Craven Cottage stadium. Access to the surrounding streets on a match day is restricted by a Traffic Management Order.

For ease of travel, we recommend arriving by taxi or public transport.

The Stevenage Park gate closes 4 hours before kick-off. Guests can still access the hotel via Gate 51.

If you do wish to drive here on match-days, there is a one-hour maximum stay policy for non-residential pay-and-display visitors between 9am and 9.30pm on all Monday-to-Sunday match days, including Bank Holidays.
