How accessible the hotel is via public transport?

By Underground 

From Putney Bridge Underground Station (District Line) – 0.7 miles

The closest station, Putney Bridge, is approximately a 10 – 20 min walk from Fulham Pier. Exit the station, turn left and follow the road (Ranelagh Gardens) then take a left at Gonville Street, cross over to enter Bishops Park. Follow the path through Bishops Park, along the river until you reach the destination. 

From Hammersmith Underground Station (Hammersmith & City Line/ Circle Line/ Piccadilly Line/ District Line) – 1.4 miles 

Hammersmith station is approximately a 35 minute walk. Exit the station and turn left, at the junction turn right passed the Swan pub then turn right onto Fulham Palace Road, after 0.3 of a mile turn right onto Chancellor’s road, walk to the end of the road then take a left onto the Thames path and continue for 20 minutes, along the river until you reach the destination. 

Accessible transport

By Rail 

From Putney Train Station (South West Trains) – 1.2 miles 

The closest mainline railway station to Fulham Pier is Putney, located on Putney High Street, south of the River Thames. 

Exit the station and turn right, continue walking until you reach Putney Bridge at the end of the high street. Cross the bridge, go down the stairs on the left-hand side of the road to enter Bishop’s Park. Once you’ve entered the park, follow the path along the river until you reach Fulham Pier. The station is 17 – 35 min walk from the pier, passing many shops, bars and ATM machines en route. The station can be easily reached by train from other railway hubs, including Clapham Junction (5 min) and Waterloo (13 min). 

  

By Bus 

From Kingston-upon-Thames bus station 

Take either the number 85 or C4 bus to Putney Bridge. The pier is approximately 10 – 15 min walk from Putney Bridge. 

From Hammersmith Bus Station 

Catch the following bus which runs down Fulham Palace Road: 220. 

From Putney Bus Station 

Catch either the 74, 424 or the 220 to Fulham Palace Road. 

From Chelsea Bus Station 

Catch the 430 or 74 which runs down Lillie Road.

By Boat 

Transport for London operates a scheduled service from the piers at Blackfriars & Embankment, terminating at Putney. The trip takes just under an hour, and you should also allow an additional 20 – 30 min to walk the final leg of the journey to the pier. There are scheduled arrivals at Putney Pier at 18:15 and 19:20.A full adult fare is £8.25, reduced to £5.50 with a valid travelcard. Please note that the riverboat service does not operate on weekends or public holidays. Further information can be found on the Transport For London website.

Is parking available at the hotel?

Although Fulham Pier is accessible by car, the site sits within a residential on-street parking permit zone. Additionally, access to the surrounding streets on a match day is restricted by a Traffic Management Order. We strongly recommend using public transport to reach Fulham Pier. 
 
If you do wish to drive here, there is a one-hour maximum stay policy for non-residential pay-and-display visitors between 9am and 9.30pm on all Monday-to-Sunday match days, including Bank Holidays.

While the hotel itself does not have its own restaurant, guests have access to plenty of exceptional dining options at Fulham Pier, which our hotel is adjacent to. Fulham Pier features numerous dining venues ranging from light bites to elevated dining with stunning river views, as well as several bars serving different cuisines and offering a selection of fine wines and cocktails. Hotel guests also have exclusive access to Private Club (Lighthouse Social) rooftop bars and a series of dining spcaces.

We do not have an on-site gym at the hotel. However, there are several excellent fitness facilities nearby. Please reach out to us at stay@fulhampierhotel.co.uk for recommendations on the closest gyms and fitness centers in the area.

Does the hotel have a spa or wellness center?

Yes, the hotel will feature a wellness area including spa treatments by appointment – spa is anticipated to open in winter. There is no confirmed date yet, so we would recommend to reach out closer to the time. Alternatively, we recommend following the hotel on social media, signing up to newsletters or checking hotel website for latest updates.
